Patients and family members are invited to relax in our tranquil therapy garden.

In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnoses such as cardiology, orthopedics, joint replacement and neurological disorders, HealthSouth Desert Canyon Rehabilitation Hospital has specialized inpatient programs for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, oncology, amputations and adolescents. Other services offered include outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy.

This 50,000-square-foot hospital serves patients throughout Las Vegas including Nye and Clark County and is located at 9175 West Oquendo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89148. Our hospital is conveniently located with easy freeway access and close proximity to local acute-care hospitals. Click here for a map and contact information on our location.

Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. The hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies as needed.

We suggest that patients wear casual, comfortable clothes that allow easy movement for therapy. Successful physical rehabilitation requires working with a therapist at least three hours a day, seven days a week. As part of this routine, each patient receives individualized therapy tailored to his or her needs two or three times daily in our specialized therapy gym. Our nursing staff is here to assist with medical care and to encourage patients to participate in their own self-care to achieve independence.
